There is a photo that exists of a group of my girl fiends at the top of a hike. Approximately 1/3 of us cried on the way up, at least in part due to moving slowly up the trail. The funny thing is, when the photo shows up in fb time hops or someone's iPhone videos, it always elicits a "what a great photo of us!" or "that was a great weekend!", followed by an "I was crying on that hike!" We may remember the crying, but we don't regret the hike. One step at a time, baby, one step at a time.
